Circuit Events
Our circuit is experimenting with
A Circuit Review.
- We are determined to use our resources effectively in undertaking fruitful ministry and mission.
- With the current Presbyteral load, we have created teams of lay positions in key areas of our mission.
- Our 21 churches and ministerial and lay staff have been grouped in four "clusters" that work together more closely.
- We utilise the gifts and graces of each member of our team in order to fulfill our mission.
- We are looking at Fresh Expressions of church, and the possibility of foreign language services in our churches which are assisting asylum seekers.
- We have appointed a circuit administrator, to act as an enabler for our work and mission.
- We continue to be open to the movement of the Holy Spirit in directing us.
Lord, the way ahead
is often uncertain
and sometimes we are called to make difficult decisions.
As we face the new opportunities which you constantly open
up for us, grant us the courage and the grace to grasp them
and use them to further your Kingdom of justice, love and peace.
Through the ups and downs which lie ahead,
give us your grace which is always sufficient.
In times of difficulty and despair,
help us to hold on to you;
in times of joy and delight,
help us to remember to give thanks.
Day by day, may we deepen our dependence upon you.
